Te Taverna

Cute little family-run taverna tucked away off the road serving fresh food from the garden. Good coffee, the garden salad and pork were delicious and we were served complimentary watermelon. Highly recommend if you’re passing through the area. Cash only.

Te Taverna is an amazingly authentic gem, showing the true colours of what Albania has to offer. A welcoming owner/chef who is committed to giving you the best veggies picked from his garden nearby for the mixed salad. The fish was sublime and the pork chops were well done, perfectly matched with fries and creamy tzatziki. Ice cold beer can be enjoyed with a terrific view of the sunset. All in all an absolute must-visit place if you come to the Borsh area!

Amazing delicious food!! Ingredients are all organic, home made. Authentic and cozy place. Very kind owner. We ate here three times and always was great the best food we ate in all vacation time.

This was the highlight of our Albania trip! We had the best time at this beautiful restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh, lots of options for vegetarians, the gardens are super beautiful, but the best thing about this place is the host!! He is just the nicest man, welcoming and friendly, and he even gave us a big bag of fresh fruits from the garden when we left.

Oh my god, the homemade cheese! I loved every bite of it. I could rave about it all day long as well as the fact, that the owner ran into the garden to gather fresh veggies for our salad. We were a group of ten people and the owner wanted to prepare our food as soon as possible. This resulted in bits of undercooked chicken and fish, but otherwise the food was great. Good experience, unique atmosphere, I recommend.

This is definitely best place we have been in Albania. This is just outside of whatever we could imagine. Dreamy garden, amazing owner, food was just craaaaazyyyy good. Both vegetarian and fish. We got free desert and rakia and the prices are really friendly. The food is all from the garden and it’s just amazing atmosphere. Recommend with all my heart ????????

We were there in June and really loved the place. The owner was kind and always available. We ordered breakfast and just to say that was delicious (fried eggs, tomatoes, cheese, cucumber, etc). It is easy to guess when they grown their own food, the taste is so different, much better than in the city. The atmosphere of the place was also great, relaxing and natural (surrounded by trees and some animals). The owner also give us for free some berries collected from his trees. If you are passing by do not hesitate in stopping there, it will be a pleasent break in your trip, i am sure of it.
